For almost 30 years Michael has partnered with US and European tech companies for talent mapping and executive search in support of Asia Pacific expansion plans. He has worked with Pre IPO Tech Start-Ups and ScaleUps throughout the region and is passionate about helping the US and European technology vendors set up in Asia and Australia.

As the founder of Offer Australia, he spends considerable time researching Start-Up vendors who want to enter into the Asia Pacific, as well as cultivating a strong network of Sales & Presales professionals who can assist in the start-up phase. Michael has an acute understanding of the unique DNA required to drive successful outcomes when setting up in the Asia Pacific, identifying the talent to drive new business is his expertise.

Michael is well connected in the ANZ region and can help identify the best talent for Start-Ups to be profitable. He has focused a great deal of time on the Cyber Security, Telecommunications and enterprise Software vendors in Australia and has an extensive network in these verticals.


Marcus Valles

For over 20 years Marcus has been directly involved in leading companies as an entrepreneur, industry consultant and executive educator. He has travelled and worked in India, China, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, Denmark, Lithuania, and Australia where he is based.Marcus works in partnership with Offer Australia to assist technology companies to establish the business in Asia and the Sub-continent.
He has consulted with a range of companies in the areas of management, leadership and international business. His clients include executives from companies like Kayser, Australia Post, Anglicare, Tobin Bros, ANCA, Confoil, TMI and many more SMEs and companies from Australia’s top 200.Marcus privately owns Quest Global Pty Ltd (developers of research and strategy) and is co-founder of a not-for-profit charity called Imagine India Inc. In 2005 Marcus created the Quest Innovation Award which opens up opportunities in emerging markets for OECD investors (high technology and manufacturing sectors). He specialises in developing new business opportunities for companies seeking to significantly drive business revenue by entry to India and the Asia region (SAFTA).

Marcus is also an adjunct lecturer and consultant in the Marketing and International Business fields at Australia’s Swinburne University. He holds degrees in Economics, Marketing, International Business and Finance including an MBA at the Mt Eliza Business School (Monash University). He lives with his wife and three children in Melbourne.

Andy founded Arete in May 2007, a spin-off arm of HeadStart Solutions that he co-founded in 2001. He entered the executive search industry in 1996 where he joined an established local search firm. As a top-performing consultant, Andy was subsequently posted to Beijing, marketing the company’s services in China, focusing on Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. He was later promoted to Consulting Manager and was based in Hong Kong from 1999 to 2001, managing search assignments Greater China region. Throughout the years, Andy has accumulated extensive industry experience in the Technology sector in Asia. In 2015, Andy founded a recruitment technology startup, mimoTREE, and expanded its business to cover ASEAN, South Korea, Japan, China/Hong Kong and Australia.

He was instrumental in sales channels management, product development and strategic business planning. Motivated by the critical importance of balancing the right cultural fit to enhance business outcomes, staff retention, market share growth and high financial returns for his clients.
